Nurturing Flexibility: Easily Transition from Breast to Bottle and Back
Supports Healthy Breathing During Feeding
The Playtex Nurser Bottle is designed to mimic breastfeeding patterns, allowing babies to naturally coordinate their sucking, swallowing, and breathing. Studies show that infants who can maintain this rhythm while bottle-feeding have more consistent oxygen levels, a key factor for healthy development.
Designed to Reduce Air Swallowing
The soft liner inside each Playtex Nurser Bottle gently collapses as your baby drinks, helping to prevent air from entering. Less swallowed air means fewer feeding-related issues like gas or fussiness—so your baby can feed comfortably and stay content.
Closer to Breastfeeding, for Better Comfort
The unique design of the Playtex Nurser Bottle supports a natural flow that’s more similar to breastfeeding. This means less interruption during feeding, helping your baby stay calm and comfortable from start to finish.

How often should I replace the nipples?
For hygiene and performance, we recommend replacing nipples every 3 months or sooner if you notice wear or damage.
My preemie daughter was put on Dr. Browns wide neck in the NICU. Dr browns is overrated. My family and I have always been playtex bottle patrons for two generations. As soon as she was able to switch I changed her to playtex and did so with no issues. These nipples are very soft and I like the frosted texture. There’s a reason why playtex bottles have been around for a long time. Make the switch and you won’t regret it. Hoping we can bring back playtex baby back into stores! In the mean time they are doing an amazing job with their online store.

My grand daughter uses the slow release nipple and it works well for her. No excessive milk flow to make the pillow wet at night.
